Brad Clapson (FRSA)

Director of Musical Theatre

Brad is an influential figure in the creative arts, awarded a 2023 Royal Society of Arts fellowship (FRSA) for his dedication to fostering creativity and community through the arts, as well as founding Artemis College, now a leading Theatre Institution in the South of England and a feeder school for leading London Theatre Universities, Brad has enjoyed a successful global performing career, including roles in Shrek the Musical and Teechers by John Godber. Passionate about accessibility in the arts, he mentors aspiring performers and collaborates with institutions like The LC Academy in Bahrain to inspire future generations. His work blends artistic excellence with social impact, driving a boundless future for the arts.

Sophia Lorenti

Director of Acting

Sophia is a professionally trained working actor with a Diploma in Acting from Drama Studio London, bringing a diverse range of expertise to LCA. With experience spanning stage, film, improv, and comedy, she has delivered standout performances, including Michaela in 'Good Luck, Studio!' (Mischief Theatre) and Rosalind in 'As You Like It'. Sophia is known for her exceptional skill in farce, comedy, multi-rolling, stage combat, and improv.

Her career includes a European tour of Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves and roles in films such as Lake Placid Vs Anaconda. At LC Academy, Sophia shares her passion for performance through personalised coaching, helping actors of all levels refine their skills in comedy, improv, and beyond. Whether you're just starting out or looking to elevate your craft, Sophia provides the guidance and inspiration to unlock your full potential.

Oscar Lorenti

Director of Wellbeing

Growing up in Bahrain, Oscar has a deep connection to the country & culture. After school, he journeyed to pursue training in his passions, earning prestigious credentials as Master Freediving Instructor & Staff SCUBA Instructor - becoming one of the youngest in the world to be so highly qualified. His enthusiasm for the industry and its activities meant he enjoyed success and a good reputation working for some of the best training centers in the region; teaching in Thailand, the Maldives & Sri Lanka. Over time, he became closely involved in the mentoring of others’ professional development.

Alongside his aquatic pursuits, he studied to become a Personal Trainer and founded ‘Bǎo Chi’, a Health Coaching service which challenges traditional fitness and lifestyle norms, guiding people back to true holistic health, as nature intended.

He attributes his success to being passionate about helping others, constant self development through learning, and placing himself in an environment that feeds his passions.

At LC Academy, Oscar aims to give others just that. Being the supportive role in bringing the Arts to Bahrain, so others may have the chance to grow personally through pursuing their creative passions, a little closer to home.
